I was going to share mine with a writing friend, and then realized it wasn't ready yet . . .I felt bad, backing out, but I knew in my gut that I wanted to make more changes before someone else (outside of my family) read it.Tyrean Martinsonhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15356604721537744361noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1419904098989228942.post-87644497812144068912012-01-18T13:52:02.058-08:002012-01-18T13:52:02.058-08:00Yah Jaime, I told her my experience with crit. gro...Yah Jaime, I told her my experience with crit. groups is the blind leading the blind. Just a bunch of us who want to apply all the rules we've read about to other people's work which seems to have much to do with erasing their voice. I have had a couple people crit my work and I almost always get something helpful out of it, but I prefer a crit partner, not a group of them. :)Rachelhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12870655070026853342noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1419904098989228942.post-53855844435098317032012-01-18T07:47:32.250-08:002012-01-18T07:47:32.250-08:00Thanks for this, Rachel! Not that I'm writing them off, I'm just lowering their importance a little in my mind. Glad you got so much out of this and thank you for sharing what you took from it :-)Jaime Morrowhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03023932422477544525noreply@blogger.com
